Free Styled a Pattern Today!

Decided it was time to try to make my own simple shorts pattern. So excited bc I love how they turned out.

Happy Flower Dress!

I was so frustrated by the fact that the dress I made yesterday was soooo teeny tiny that I would never be able to wear it, I woke up this morning with a mission to make a dress (during my daughters nap of course) that would fit me and I did!! Love it. It also looks much better on a person than the mannequin.

Sample Sale!

I just made this linen dress as a sample. Way too small to fit me! Size 2 with an A or B cup would look great in this. Sample price for this one is $55 Free shipping anywhere in the US. ( Custom order for other sizes or colors will be $120.)

and after I made THIS dress to replace the pinafore she said it was too big. I give up!

Woke up at 5am and Made a New Pinafore Set.

Well, this may be a tad redundant but I had to share. The Birthday Crown Shirt made the outfit much more girly and she actually tried it on! Although a skirt has been requested to replace the pants!

One more thing...

Forgot to mention the super-soft stretchy headbands I have been working on. I need a model!!!

New from the Summer Collection!

Whipped this cute little Aqua and Red number up this morning (complete with headband) for my adorable three year old. When I showed it to her she frowned and announced that she "doesn't wear pants". I suppose that means it has been released for sale!

Emily is getting her tutu today!

I think this one might be my favorite. I love the colors together. Just yummy. It is also a favorite because it is for a seven year old. This is the first one I have ever made without a pattern for the top.

Farrah Braniff Photography

I am so lucky. Thursday night I made my first tutu for a newborn. I don't have a mannequin for that size but I really wanted to see it on (as I do with all my tutus to check the fit and size). I was lamenting this fact to my fabulous photographer friend Farrah Braniff, and what do you know? She happened to have a newborn shoot scheduled for the very next day! Thank you Farrah for giving me my first glimpse of great professional photography.

I just made these for a good friend. One is for her daughter (who was a preemie) and the other is for her niece--a cancer survivor. I really hope the dresses bring joy to those little girls. They certainly deserve it!

Well, I just had to post this one. I understand that to the untrained eye the subtle differences in each tutu are difficult to find, but for me, the differences are so exciting!

I just got an order for three tutus yesterday. I am really excited because the colors on the tutus are so unique. I really love doing custom orders for this reason. People inspire me with their ideas!

I have dragged myself into 2010 by purchasing the new 4G ithingy. After much anticipation of all of the cool applications and quick photo uploading I would be doing, I am sitting at my computer wondering why--a day later-- I have no cell service on the fancy thing?

So instead of posting a photo of a fancy new tutu I will be posting a photo of my fancy new paper weight.
